ROCKY MOUNTAIN BEARDED COLLIE CONNECTION
Obedience and Rally
Obedience Trials are competitive events that test a dog and their owner on performing a known set of exercises. There are many levels of competition that offer something for every bearded collie and human, from basic obedience to very difficult exercises.
Rally Trials are a recent addition to the field of AKC obedience and offer a fun way to interact with your beardie in competition. Under the eye of stopwatch, you need to accurately perform 12-20 different performance exercises with your dog by following cue signs. It's a more liberal obedience sport where unlimited communication from the handler to the dog is encouraged and not penalized.
